Absolutely incredible company and products. So far I’ve tried their chutoro, hamachi, ora king salmon and belly, Hokkaido scallops, and negitoro. Everything was excellent quality and fresh. I look forward to the amaebi and ikura which I have yet to try. Additionally, their products are packaged extremely well and arrive frozen solid every time with an abundance of dry ice and insulation. I’ve been disappointed in my search for sushi quality seafood online in the past. This far exceeded my expectations. Thank you for making high quality seafood accessible to people without nearby comparable options.

delivery and packaging were perfect, products were delicious. the quail eggs all arrived intact because of the excellent packaging. Radish sprouts were a little slimy, perhaps something so delicate isn't meant to be shipped near dry ice? The prices are very reasonable for the products. The salmon and negitoro were to die for- equally good raw and torched.

Ordered for valentines day to prepare an omakase style dinner for my wife did not disappoint at all. Customer service well very responsive and friendly. Super super disappointed….. When I tell you I expected to have a great Valentine’s Day dinner and then I got my package from Yama seafood and opened it. The fish was not properly packed to stay frozen when I opened it. It smelled so bad. The smell stayed in my house for days was expecting a lot better. The uni I couldn’t even try it when I got it because the smell was so bad so hopefully when you guys order they will pack it properly

The very apogee of sashimi. The uni is the absolute freshest I have ever had (chose the Santa Barbara uni) and if you know high-end sashimi in Tokyo and NYC, it is perhaps one of the best ways to assess quality. You do have to thaw the fish yourself so care and effort are involved. This is essentially like having a buyer at Toyosu market with connections procuring one of the highest-grades of fish, perfectly packed for the journey from Japan. I just don’t know why it took until now to find out Yama existed! Updated: The Salmon, tuna, and chu-toro were beyond fresh and flavorful.
