Yaadie Authentic Jamaican Cuisine

I live 4 minutes from this place and have never seen it but I’m happy to have found this place tonight. I ordered oxtails and white rice and it came out delicious as the meat was tender, flavorful, and just the way I like it. If you like spicy this is for you! The lady there put gravy all over my rice and it was the best 😻 I would go again. Staff very friendly

Hubby had oxtail, I had jerk chicken. We are visiting the area and when we spotted this place, we knew we'd have to try it before we left. First, the atmosphere was very welcoming! It feels less like a restaurant or roadside Cafe and more like visiting a close friend. Everyone was so welcoming and warm and the beautiful young lady at the helm even provided us with tastes of the food we ordered as they prepared it, like Mama does. Then came the food. Exquisite jerk chicken, that practically fell off the bone, moist and loaded with flavor! It was served with rice and peas, which were plentiful, a small salad and some fried plantains that I'd never had before but now love. Jerk chicken was amazing! I was driving by and stopped in for some food. Everyone was very friendly and explained the options and differences in the sauces available. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes with delicious hot food. I will definitely be back for more!

If you’re ever in the area, Yaadie is definitely the place to go. I’m always very skeptical about trying new Jamaican restaurants but, Yaadie did not miss!!!! I ordered curry goat with rice rice, a beef pattie and two pineapple soda. The curry goat was amazing! However, their pattie IS TO DIE FOR. They were super sweet and the aroma of the food will capture you from the moment you walk in. I ended up purchasing 3 more pattie for the road. A must visit.

This place is a take out only place. I got the curried goat. I got a small platter of it and it was still pretty big. It’s not the cheapest, but the flavors live up to the price tag.
