Love, love, love the food. Kudos to the cook. The service was great. The greeter was the best. I have been in Texas for 5 years. This is the first REAL soul food kitchen. The helpings were huge. Thanks for making our visit enjoyable.

It was my first time visiting. Our wait was quite a bit since the main entrée is made to order. Overall, the place is just like it says. Comfort foods always win.

The food wasn’t worth the price. Good tastes old like cooked a few days prior. Then my corn muffin was molded. There’s not enough flavor in the food to be called soul food and this supposed to be the south lol yea I dnt recommend this place if your looking for soul food and food full of flavor!!

Love this place! I've eaten there several times and what's the hardest thing to do is choose what to eat because everything is so good. Love the oxtails stuffed porkchops but I must tell how I booked it as a venue to throw my husband's surprise birthday party this past Saturday! Great food packages to choose from, not to mention, Cookie was a great hostess. Welcoming atmosphere, music, food, cards and dominos Great place to have family dinner, game days, dine in or carry out. Thanks again for such a lovely time Booking again in August
