Definitely a 12/10 and that’s just for the food. Highly recommend their special dishes on the wall( although written in Chinese) that truly represent Xi’an. Love their 特色花肉(special pork) with the wonderful chili oil,西安甑糕( sticky rice with dates). The owner even made us a special 二合一 (handmaked noodles + pork mandarin sauce +ADD spicy) because my friend had it once in Xi’an and loved it so much although it’s not on the menu and thank you so much for that!
They are open in Thanksgiving day which is great. There was no wait and the server really nice and friendly. However, I didn’t like the food too much ( my husband does). Good for small family and seem like they authentic Chinese foods.
Great Xi‘an food! Highly recommend! Very authentic. Got the dumplings in chili oil as appetizers and the spicy sour minced pork noodle soup. Both have been very delicious.
Hidden Gem with Amazing Food and Service I’ve always been curious about this place but hesitated to try it because of the exterior—it looks like a takeout spot from the outside. Last week, I finally decided to go in and was pleasantly surprised. Inside, it’s a clean and inviting dine-in restaurant. The restaurant was empty, which made me a little sad, especially after trying the food—it’s unbelievably good! I ordered the Chongqing spicy chicken, scallion pancake, liang pi, and hot and sour soup. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The scallion pancake had a uniquely crisp crust, and the hot and sour soup was packed with veggies, button mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, tofu, and eggs. It was comforting, delicious, and felt healthy—exactly what you need on a cold day. They even
I first tried Liang Pi in Toronto and after coming back to the U.S I had to look for my fix here. I tried a few places but it wasn't the same. Then I found this plade and the food here is delicious! I got the Xi'an Liang Pi and the pork buns. The Liang Pi tastes just like i remember it when i had in Canada. I ordered online for pickup. Don't be fooled by the outside, the inside looks great and was clean.
