World’s Famous Souseman Soulfood

Finally got to try this place out after missing the open hours due to travel for about 3 weeks. Call and check as the doordash hours are wrong for some reason. I gave them a call and said I would be walking over from the airport. Once I arrived I was greeted by a wonderful family treated like I was part of it! I was already sold on 5 stars i came to try the souse as a few have told me this place was good and ive never tried it before. Ended up getting the turkey and the pork Both were good but the turkey was my favorite. I happened to come on a limited menu day so I couldn't support as much as I wanted but I promise I will be back when I am in the area! I also got a rib sandwich and the boiled peanuts. I showed up at closing based on the reviews I figured I had to try it. Im from NY the owner told me they was closed when I showed up, I told him thank you next time ill try and come early. The owner was so pleasant he went and prepared me some Souse and let me tell you it was amazing. On my next trip from NY im coming back. Thank you got the good food and pleasant experience 🙏🏾

I tried the pork souse yesterday, and it was awesome! I really enjoyed eating this souse! It was very flavorful and had no bones, only meat! I recommend it!! Especially if you've been disappointed by other souse sellers! Tuesdays, the souse is only $10 They also have chicken souse, which I will try next!

My son called for a reservation on Mother's Day thinking that it might be busy. It would have been nice if they mentioned it was take out only. We placed an order in the driveway and waited 15 minutes for some absolutely delicious food! We got the fried pork chop and the barbecue chicken. The collard greens are the best I've ever had! The macaroni and cheese was thick like a lasagna. The rice and pigeon peas was flavorful and the seafood rice was robust. The chicken was pink inside and smokey. Delicious homemade mixed sause. I didn't know what to expect but I certainly wasn't disappointed! Go for the adventure!
