WOOMIGA

This is regarding my Uber Eats order. I ordered bibimbap, galbi deopbap and Korean fried chicken wings. Bibimbap was very average, but I had major issues with the other two. Galbi deopbap- it was mostly onion with slivers of meat that had a lot of fat. Meat weren’t the usual La Galbi cut either- it looked like they were just leftover trimmings of short rib! Very mediocre taste also. I mean compare my photo to what’s displayed on Uber Eats menu. KFC- biggest issue. Wings came naked WITH KETCHUP packets… they were bland and not even really that crispy! So I called the restaurant and then asked to please fix this, at least refund for the wings. They go on to say “well you should have chosen the sauce because some people want them naked.” Well guess what, there’s no option to “choose” sauce o

Had an amazing time here! My friends and I were met with Lee and she was super sweet. The hospitality and the food here was amazing. Despite arriving an hour before closing she kept the kitchen open for us and served us. I’ve lived in the area for my whole life and never knew it Woomiga was here. The cuisine felt like genuine authentic Korean food. Highly recommend coming here. Especially with friends! If you do make sure they tell everyone about Woomiga!

Love the genuine and authentic feel of this independently owned Korean restaurant. A true “Mom&Pop” that serves delicious, comfort Seoul food. The owner is super cute and staff are all friendly and really great too. The taste and experience reminds me of my mom’s home-cooked Korean food. Highly recommend!

I decided to drive from Washington to Richmond after flight was delayed due to winter storm. I come from Los Angeles and I missed my K-town BBQ. This place was a savior. Great food and service. Will come again if stranded in a winter storm.

Me and my girlfriend went to this place to try Korean food on valentines day. We were welcomed by two friendly servers and they recommended us the best meat and we did barbecue. The salad was best there and we loved the portions of meat. The owner was also friendly and both the owner and servers made us laugh and we really felt like family there. Food was so delicious but I recommend lowing down the music volume so people can communicate easily. Everything else except that is fire. We loved this place and we would visit this place again:)
