Woody's Wings N Things

As many of America’s greatest eateries are, Woody’s Wings N Things is situated in a questionable looking strip mall, nestled between a convenience store and a takeout pizza joint. I was excited to go to Woody’s for the first time, and when my buddy and I pulled up to find a jam-packed parking lot, my anticipation only grew. We walked in, and seemingly every patron looked up and stared at us as if thinking “dangit, more people found out about our secret.” Luckily, we were seated immediately and presented with massive, phone book sized menus with helpful pictures of all the dishes. Woody’s Wings and Things is a great example of why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. The outside and inside aren’t exactly fancy, but the food and service are absolutely fantastic! They have a huge menu, and everything is cooked to order. I had the Pad Thai, and it was delicious. It was well-seasoned and a generous serving. My wife had the wings, and they were crispy and well-cooked. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop by and try Woody’s.

Atmosphere. Dated. Nice dated appearance I'd say. Looks back in time. Service, they cover the basic needs . Just gotta wave them down. I went 3 times and got their shrimp and lobster sauce lunch to start. Very very good Chinese they have. The lobster sauce I could tell is one of the best in this area if not the best. It was the right color and had everything in it. The rice was light yellow and usually in the Chinese world, the browner the fried rice the better but not here. This fried rice measures up in flavor. I got Cambodian spicy soup 2nd which I liked. It was different but it had a more sour taste. Ordered 2 beef laab, fried chicken, fried fish, papaya salad, and pad Thai for pick up. Got home and got only I laab and the papaya salad was ok … taste mostly peppers. Pad Thai was not it , had to throw in the pan to make it taste better….leave that dish alone if you can’t make it properly.

The food was amazing. I got their Pad Kee Mao and the noodles were seasoned to perfection, the veggies were crispy snd the seafood was tender. Highly recommend this place.
