Woody's Bar-B-Q

The atmosphere is comfortable and the waitress was kind but stressed from running too many tables. Compared to the non-corporate steakhouse across the street, the meat was dry and lacking the quality of their competitor. The beans and the street corn were fantastic but the main course was disappointing. If you are there to relax and talk to friends while consuming mass quantities, this is a good stop. If you want better food at the same price I would go across to their competitor if you can get a seat there.

Great spot for dinner. Close to our hotel. Food was good and service was on point. Nothing fancy but hit the spot. Also…the sweet potatoes with cinnamon butter was decadent.

We like going to woody's. It is super kid friendly and they even have a lady that does balloons and face painting on the kids eat free Monday's. All of our food has been really good. Only thing that stops it from being 4 stars is the speed of service. We've gone with the place was pretty much empty and had to wait a long while for our food.

We visited on Sunday for lunch. The restaurant was crowded, but our wait was still less than 10 minutes. Within 5 minutes of being seated, our drinks were on our table, and our appetizers were cooking. Everything was wonderful. The food was fresh and well prepared, and it was real smoked bbq. I am a rib snob, and my ribs were perfect! The sweat tea was phenomenal; our server was attentive, engaging, professional and fast. It was truly a great experience; we will be back.

Passing through on our way to the Gulf Coast on January 30. We were looking for casual bar food. The hostess/waitress Who sees us and waited on us was fantastic. Very friendly, made great suggestion. we had one of each type of pulled pork sandwich and they were both great. I had baked beans and my wife had a sweet potato. We also had a couple drinks and dessert. Food, Service, atmosphere were all great. Everything was first class, except the price which was extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend it.
