Woodley Park Guest House

I stayed 2 nights for a conference. This was so much better than staying at the main hotel which was just a few blocks away. The hosts are absolutely lovely and most of the guests were repeat customers which speaks volumes about how welcoming they are. Good breakfast which is around a communal dining table which encourages conversing with the other guests. I had a small room on the top floor under the slope of the roof which was just fine for me. The bed was comfy and the shower hot. There are also snacks at the front desk which was perfect after a long day sitting in a ballroom.

Doing some research on where to stay in Washington DC, I stumbled on this place and the price was fair, so it was booked.||We arrived by Metro which the B&B is a few steps from. (Tip, If arriving by the Metro, take the elevator and once you exit through the elevator doors, turn left and left again and the B&B is on the right.) We arrived a little late, but we had excellent communications from the Innkeepers with regards entry and keys for our rooms. There was some lovely cookies on arrival too.||We had room 107! A basement room which was lovely and homely with a small en-suite bathroom. The bed comfort was outstanding and probably one of the best personally I have ever slept on. The room was nipping clean and the maids do a super job with their upkeep.||Breakfast is a continental style but

What a beautiful stay we had while attending the American Vets Conference at the Omni Hotel. We were steps from the Omni so super convenient for us. Breakfast is wonderful, super healthy and all fresh. Our room was quiet, cozy and had everything we needed. Betty was absolutely lovely in helping us with our stay. This is where will stay when we come back for our next trip !

I think it is the best place ever. Owner sits at the breakfast table with you and chats. All of the staff is lovely. Rooms are all different and furnished with unique pieces plus hand done artwork. Close to Metro stop plus easy walk to Connecticut Ave stores and restaurants.

Stayed for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was a little small but very well appointed and super comfortable; it is an older house so the small room wasn't unexpected. The staff are amazing; very friendly and accommodating. My wife has a gluten sensitivity and each morning for breakfast they prepared something for her. The location is literally steps away from the Woodley Park / Zoo Metro station elevator which conveniently takes you anywhere you want to go. Will definitely stay here again when in the DC area.
