Wooden Spoon Eatery

My first experience at The Wooden Spoon was excellent. It’s Greek and Veteran owned. Our server Amber was awesome. Great personality and very attentive. I had Surfsider - 2 pancakes, 2 eggs and bacon or sausage. Pancakes were light and tasty; eggs cooked to perfection. I also got side of home fries which were superb. I will be back and try their lunch/ dinner menu.

My wife and I ate here on Sunday afternoon and she had breakfast and I had lunch ! Her breakfast was delicious and my cheeseburger deluxe was good as well . The only thing about my sandwich was the bread kept falling apart but I didn’t say anything! My fault . But I did enjoy my meal even so . This was our first visit to the Wooden Spoon Eatery . We shall try to eat here again next year when we come down to the beach . Thanks Wayne

Stopped by for breakfast as recommended by Westin, who we met at the Carolina Opry Christmas Show. If you're ever in Surfside SC stop at the Wooden Spoon Eatery! Can you tell we loved our breakfast? We split Pancakes, Eggs Benedict, and home fries. The owner came out and checked on every table. A+ all the way!

The Wooden Spoon is hands down our favorite local spot. The food quality is consistently outstanding, and you can truly taste the care in every dish. My go-to breakfast is the Fried Green Tomato Benedict — perfectly cooked eggs, incredible flavor, and just the right balance of richness and freshness. This weekend’s Steak Benedict special? OMG. So delicious. Tender steak, cooked just right, layered with that signature hollandaise… absolutely next level. The location is great, the atmosphere feels welcoming and authentic, and it’s everything you want in a true local treasure. We’re so lucky to have The Wooden Spoon in our community!

I was visiting Myrtle Beach in mid-January and stopped in two days in a row for breakfast. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating and also informed us of the daily specials. All our food came out promptly and was hot and tasty!! I especially liked the corned beef hash and greek omelette. They have nice outdoor seating but unfortunatley the weather was way too cold when we were visiting. The location is great, right off the main drag and easy, plentiful parking. The next time we are in town, we will be back!
