Wonder Clinton Hill

This pad Thai was subpar. First time I ordered (6-8 months ago), it was tasty. This was a bust. And a bit embarrassing because shared this with a friend who I had told it was a good meal. Felt like fast food. And this is the second disappointment. Ordered Limesalt a week ago. No bueno. What happened?!

So I ordered from a place on Grubhub that said it was called Bobby Flay Steak, but it was actually this Wonder location. Regardless, the food was very delicious. I got the Branzino with Orange Mojo sauce, and a side of creamed spinach. While the branzino and the accompanying salad were incredible, the real star of the meal was the creamed spinach. If you decide to order from Bobby Flay Steak AKA Wonder, get the creamed spinach.

This delivery service definitely broadens the options in Clinton Hill/Fort Greene. These include Sripraphai, which I've gone to in Queens. The food I ordered tonight from Sripraphai wasn't quite as spicy as what I've had from the Queens restaurant but it was still very good, a step above the neighborhood Thai spots and not as greasy. We also ordered delicious hot & sour soup from Kin House.

Honestly, I was skeptical before I ordered. I thought it would be mediocre ghost kitchen food, but I have to say, I was very impressed with what I ordered. I got the Roasted Salmon & Butter Beans from Walnut Lane and it was well portioned and well cooked. It also arrived super fast.

We have done takeout 2x and it is perfect when members of the family are picky. 1kid wants only pizza which is fine because others can get Mexican or Chinese, etc. Husband picked up the food and we didn't have to wait long for him to come home.
