I've lived less than a mile away from this branch of the Thomas Crane Public Library for almost a decade now, and after stopping by a few weeks ago, I am kicking myself for waiting so long to check out this AMAZING little off-spin of the TC! It's tiny compared to the Thomas Crane main library, essentially one large area with a bright, cheery children's library in the corner, but the shelves were neatly organized, the books on display were notable, current choices, and the staff was unspeakably friendly. It also offers free wifi and public computers (yet I didn't see any patrons using the public computers when I was there). The building itself is beautiful, with stunning woodwork and a beautiful large oil painting of an old man and a young girl in a wooden row boat, resting on the oars
We’ve been coming here every Wednesdays this summer for Lego Building time. The kids love it because they have several bins of all the different sizes (Lego, Duplo, etc.) It’s a small branch, but still has a decent collection of books.
My favorite go-to. Love the place. So cozy & the staff is so nice. Where else can you get papers printed for .15? Always a pleasure being there!
The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable with assisting people whether looking for a book, setting up a library card, or using the internet. The place is small and has quite a few young children at times but still a good library.
This seemed like a very kid-friendly library. The interior was small. I was not sure if there was any power outlet that you could use for your laptop. Parking on street was two hour limit.
