Wolfes Smokehouse and BBQ

We stopped by and got a little bit of everything. We got brisket, sausage, ribs, and prime rib with sides of baked beans, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The prime rib and mac and cheese was my personal favorite and the ribs were my fiancée's. Everything came out perfect and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. When we got home, we literally sat in silence while we devoured the food. This place is definitely worth the drive and is one of the best bbq places that we have had in Indiana. We got all of that food for just under $60, and we definitely had enough food leftover for 2 or 3 more people. That's about $12 a person for high quality BBQ!!

Driving thru Kokomo Indiana and came across Wolfe's Smokehouse. Oh!! What a find indeed. Michael, the owner, was super hospitable. Tried his smoked brisket, chicken and turkey. Wow!!! Knocked it out of the park. As a Texan, I know good bbq brisket and he has nailed it. Don't drive by Kokomo and miss this opportunity. Portion size is huge and man is it tender. Just get ya some!!

On 01/10/2026 I decided to eat a full rack of ribs at Chuck E Cheese. They made the ribs extra wet for me and wished me luck on my venture. They didn’t believe I could do it, unfortunately they were right but I only had 1 1/2 pieces left. Glad they could be a part of my journey. Phenomenal ribs and people. This will be an annual event.

I got the brisket and the portion size was excellent, great value for the money. Meat was VERY salty. It was very juicy and yet, kind of dry from what I expected. The brisket baked beans were dreadful. I swear that was a can of pork and beans with a little brisket thrown in. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but better to just say your out of beans than to serve those things. EDIT: I LOVE the response! An excellent blend of sincerity, annoyance, and sarcasm. To anyone who reads my "meh" review; know this- I am 100% going back here to eat again because the food was good AND because they have the guts to push back when they disagree. That's what I want in a BBQ joint and I highly recommend that everyone goes and tries Wolfe's for themselves. DO NOT take my word for it!!!! Note: w

Loved the food and the service was excellent. The bologna, sausage, and pulled pork were especially good. The Wolfe platter is an amazing deal.
