Wish Me Vegan

This place is really the vegan menu at Ole Ole Burrito Express. The food is damn good and has so many different meat alternatives to choose from (fake meats, jackfruit, etc). It's so nice to have somewhere that you can get really indulgent food like a California burrito or Philly cheese steak fries that's all vegan. Service is always good, food is on time and generous sizes, chips and salsa are a nice bonus too.

I like the place. It's open late, and serves good portions. Service is good, but my wife did receive an incorrect order once. There are lots of choices for Mexican vegan fare. I really like their burritos, but they also have Mexican breakfast plates. The clientele gets a bit iffy - especially late at night. Parking can be a challenge, and the name of the restaurant can easily be mistaken due to the signage. Even so, this has become one of our go-to places when we're in the area. It's not that far from Berkeley, and is the best vegan restaurants I have found in Oakland, and one of the top for the entire area. Consider ordering to go.

So delicious! I had a customized “Wish Me Vegan” Burrito with vegan chicken and a spinach wrap; so flavorful! I’m back home wishing I had access to this place for another burrito! I also had the tacos with carne asada. They have the vegan proteins perfected! You can’t go wrong with the vegan chicken or carne asada! The salsas were pretty yummy too. My only disappointment is that the watermelon is artificially flavored for the agua Fresca. The guy who attended to me for my pick up was very lovely! Note that; this place is within another restaurant business. All said, I will definitely order from here again, when in town.

I believe it was the owner that i was interacting with me, he seemed like a really funny guy very friendly. However I ordered some vegan burritos, and it almost was meat burrito🤮, the guy caught it but the lady still put regular cheese in the burrito 🌯🤢 and it destroyed my stomach for 3 days. Plus the price online wasn't the price giving during check out, two burrito was about 15 dollars each. Chipotle has called me back to their veggie burrito with no cheese at 11 bucks👍🏿.

I’ve ordered here a lot and today was by far the worst experience I have ever had… I don’t know what kind of hoodoo that got goin on but I don’t like it lol but frfr my order was completely wrong and they said that’s how I ordered it and I know it’s not because I always double and triple check when I’m ordering online.. I ordered vegan ground beef enchiladas with vegan cheese sauce because I hate the chemical taste of the vegan shredded cheese. The cheese sauce was giving cottage cheese.. I pout my fork in it and it was super stiff and cold looking.. the worker tried to justify it simply by sayin that’s how it looks.. I’ve never seen a vegan cheese sauce look that way. I asked for guacamole as my option instead of sliced avocado.. I got sliced avocado with the avocado peels still on ther
