WingStand by Jefferson's—Olathe

I have been coming here for a few months now. I have had amazing experiences with customer service and food is delicious. Today I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Jo, he was very nice to chat with. He answered all my questions just cause I wanted to chat ;) I love their jerk wings and the angry parm dipper, what a great combo. Thank You for great food!

** update - Joe, the owner gave me a call and seemed very receptive to my feedback regarding setting guest expectations and staff communication. If I were local to the area I would be willing to give the restaurant another shot. ** Walked in to order, my first hint to turn around should have been the 10 other people waiting in the lobby. But I ordered anyway, was quoted 15 minutes. Then I learned that everyone else was waiting 30+ minutes. Even people who had ordered online. It got to the point where people actually CHEERED when someone actually received their order. After 45 minutes I asked for a refund, they finally had my order ready. The wings are just fine. But not "stand around for 45+ minutes" good

While the flavors were good, the wings were so overcooked that there was hardly anything edible. What meat was left was dry, and we couldn’t take a bite without the bones breaking off.

Placed an online order.. got there to pick it up and apparently someone stole our order, so they remade it for us. They then forgot the fries, so had to wait extra for those. One of the items ordered was a large boneless wings only, which was 12 wings. Got home and they only gave 10 wings. Not really worth a phone call cause we’re not gonna go back since we live in KCMO, plus it close to closing time. But this is the second time they have given less wings than what is in the order. Once was at the mission location and once at the Olathe location.. they are consistent across locations… consistently delicious wings… and consistently stiffing you in wings. Lol

Wing Stand is hands down one of the best spots for wings! The flavors are amazing – super bold and cooked perfectly every time. The wings are always fresh, juicy, and have the right amount of crisp. The staff is friendly and quick, and the service feels personal. Prices are fair for the quality and portion size, and the atmosphere is great whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. If you’re a wing lover, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!
