Wings and Rings

Sports bar atmosphere. Great wings (I sampled one of my companion's ), but I was trying to eat healthy and got a salad and loaded cauliflower (which was delish). Salad could use more greens, but had lots of chicken! Good fountain soda and good beer selection. Attentive service.

I really want to like this place but the tenders are just nasty. Every time we've come here the chicken tenders have zero flavor. The breading is nasty! The wedge fries are good, but they need to seriously improve their chicken tender breading 🤢

This place has the absolute best wings in the area!! I can't tell you how much I love this place!! The blue cheese alone is finger licking flipping amazing!!! Always crispy and hot but moist in the middle wings!! 🤤 I'll choose this place over any wing place in the area!! It's a must go!! You won't be disappointed!! 🤗

Friday afternoon we went to Wings And Rings at 1020 El Jobean Rd, Port Charlotte, in the Town Center drive across from Red Lobster.  TBH I wasn't expecting  much, given the reviews I've read online, but I was pleasantly surprised.  It is just another example to read everything with a grain of salt and find out things for yourself. We arrived and waited a minute before anyone knew, but it gave us time to look around.  The place is much larger than we had thought and it was not only spacious, but clean as well.  They do have outside seating, but since it was humid, we opted for inside.  It was cool but comfortable.  Our wait person, Desiree, asked what we wanted to drink.  While she was off getting the Diet Cokes, we had time to look at the menu and it was extensive. The soft pretzel appetizer was very good, the cheese dip is delicious. Our server was attentive but not overbearing.. Please may I have more celery and maybe a few carrots 🥕.
