Customer Reviews
Dined during their Grand Opening weekend twice (they had soft launch a couple weeks ago) where we had 5 free boneless wings and half off entire menu. The couple guys I assume were owners were great at explaining everything and providing recs. The food was excellent. Spices were applied in the right amount, cooked to the right level. The food came out without a long wait. I'm not a wing expert but this was heads above WingStop. Favorite flavor was the dry garlic parm. Second best was the Mardi Gras, which the owner recommended. Wet rubs are not my preference, so peach BBQ and BBQ were lower on my list. Fried corn was excellent. Fries were good and seasoning seemed like the Mardi Gras.
I'm not one to cast accusations, but I simply do not see how this place has 4.9 stars. Let's get the one good thing out of the way: the service was actually rather nice and friendly. Not the best ever, like other reviews are saying, but still (I'm trying here). Now to the negatives; the place is rather small and has a rather basic and drab appearance. Even after spotting the sign out front, I had to double check that this was a wings place. Now to the stuff that really matters, the food. These were likely the worst tenders I've ever had: clearly overcooked, surface was tough to bite into (think I hurt my gums), and the inside was dry. What's even worse is that they didn't even toss the tenders in the flavor of choice, they simply overcooked the tenders, then sprinkled thr seasoning (spicy
My boneless wings was delicious 😋 and the other one omg was fire 🔥 hot 🥵 😆 🤣 but i finished them but im going back
As a resident of midtown, was happy to see a wing spot open up. Decided to give a try. Got a 10 piece bone-in, all drums, half cajun-half hot with blue cheese. Thought the Cajun was a dry rub, it wasn't. Didn't really care for it. Hot was really hot, was decent. Chicken was overcooked and dry. This spot is close so I'll try again, but they need some dry rubs. Blue cheese either wasn't cheesy or the hot was so hot I couldn't taste it.
Wings are so flavorful and made to order! Cant wait until I come back to Houston to try them again😍
