Absolutely fell in LOVE with this place and this will be my go to place for dim sum in SF from now on. I discovered this gem when the line at good mong kok bakery was too long. There seemed to be plenty of locals in the restaurant so I decided to give it a shot. I spent around $40 got plenty of dim sum for the family to go around. The dim sum was hot, plump, and filled with meat! We tried new moon last time, and was extremely disappointed because it was cold!! Plus, the have seating in the back. We will be coming back here. Bring cash!

A little surprised by all the high reviews, but maybe it was just what I ordered. I just wanted a small breakfast so I had shrimp chive dumplings and a chicken bun. Reasonable prices ~$1.50+ per dumpling. The chicken bun was cold. Bread ratio was high to meat, which was bland. I got a huge cartilage chunk and had to spit it out. I prefer the shrimp chive dumplings at Wong Lee bakery. This one the shrimp wasn't whole (more minced), the chive flavor wasn't strong, and the dough was quite thick. I would go back here, but only for a hot rice meal. The eggplant looked incredible. I regret not ordering that. For buns and dumplings, there are better bakeries.

Visited in December 2024, looking for flaky fried taro dim sum. When we inquired about the taro, we were told that they did have the dish. It was in the wrong form: steamed skin instead of fried with flaky edges The steamed taro dumpling with ground meat is okay, not amazing. The right filling, but we wanted the fried ones. We had just purchased multiple boxes of dim sum from 2 other shops so we didn't try anything else. Maybe next time. Cash payment.

I had a great experience with Wing Sing Dim Sum. First time ordering food there. People were friendly. I ordered congee and portion is just perfect. They have a lot variety of dim sum and buns.

Every time I stop by this place,I pick up 1 or 2 of their baked char siu bao. I usually finish them before I can walk 2 or 3 blocks away but hey they're meant to be enjoyed. It's not a typical char siu bao because this one has a sweet soft white crust on top that's almost reminiscent of a pineapple buns top. It costs $2 each and it's worth a try if you want to experience a variant on the char siu bao. The ladies working there are friendly and efficient. It's a small shop so it's best as a grab and go place.
