Willie's Burgers & BBQ

Good bean and cheese taco, and the homemade habanero salsa was delicious. I’m not generally blown away by Austin prices, but this one got me however. $10.23 for 1 bean and cheese taco, and 1 ozarka bottled water.

👀upon arriving here TODAY (May 13th 2022), there were 8 men of the Latino heritage, and obviously that had been working all morning and were just trying to order 8 burgers... (Truly, I promise you, this NO lie!!!) *They were denied because there was too many of them in a group... *(Owner) Mr. Willie... Flat out told them it would be over an hour before they could make 12 burgers! My coworker and I witnessed this. One by one they left (loss of money) and tried to justify why he couldn't serve them, to the other patrons... Then had the audacity to ask "me" if I was with them... If it wasn't for my coworker ordering already, i would've bounced. Not spending $8.25 for a burger that tastes like a stale sonic burger 🍔 anyways... No waaaaay? 🤔🧱🧱🧱

Really enjoy dropping in Willie’s when I can. Huge, glorious breakfast tacos (hence the “grande”) and always some good conversation that comes with ‘em.

What a great place! The food was so delicious and the service was just as great. We got a chance to speak to the owner's son and learned a bit of history about their place. As we were getting ready to leave the owner himself (who had cooked our food!) came to introduce himself. Willie and his son made us feel like we had known them all our lives. Thank you kind sirs for all you do! Keep up the good work and be proud of the business you have built.

Nice to see Jason carrying on Willie's legacy. Great food served with a smile and friendly conversation.
