Great public library with plenty of small activity centers, learning areas, and plenty of books and other resources. Seperate kids/teen sections, as well as a "book nook" with for sale books. Friendly staff and not as crowded, or busy, as the other Williamsburg library in the Historic area.
Lovely little library with friendly staff and a modern feel. There are plenty of places to sit with a good book and study for a while. There are both kids and teen spaces and a whole music section, a little cafe type area with vending machines. Very clean bathrooms and facility overall.
I love bringing my kids to this library. There’s always something to keep them engaged, from a wide selection of books to fun activities and special events designed just for kids. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, and the entire space is clean, organized, and inviting. It’s a wonderful resource for families and a place we look forward to visiting again and again.
We're new in the area. This is a very nice library and teen/kid friendly. There's rooms for meetings, quiet study and nooks to read. When we first came in there was a propagation area and garden area to freely take seeds to start your own garden. This will definitely be a go to place for us.
Of the two public libraries in Williamsburg, this one is cleaner, quieter, and designed for children. It has the kids section closed off by sliding doors and is much bigger in size than the downtown location. Staff are friendly, all the handicap doors work, and there are is a big craft room for kids too if a kiddo doesn't want to read. I do like both locations though and you can pick up and return books to either location. There are also picnic tables and small trails behind the library.
