Wildwood Library

I’ve been here all of ten minutes, but I can already tell you I like it here! Substantial kids’ section. We are here to homeschool as a 1st grader, preschooler, and baby; and it is clear we will have enough entertainment and play while we do our lessons.

Wildwood Library is truly my happy place. The librarians know us by name and are consistently warm and attentive. The building is super inviting — with all the natural light from the expansive windows that overlook the wildflower garden and yet still super cozy with its fireplace and comfy chairs. The children’s section is our favorite though. It has a fun selection of books and engaging toys that make every visit a treat for my kid. And with plenty of free community events, it’s an exceptional place to learn, unwind, and feel genuinely connected to the neighborhood. ❤️

Beautiful library with some of the kindest staff. How ever it is quite noisy in here which makes it hard for someone to study or do their work. The noise does echo through the building. I would recommended bring some noise canceling headphones if you have them.

Beautiful new library. We walked over there to see the art show, including my first painting in a juried show (it's the cat painting). Lots of gorgeous paintings there. My only issue is the ongoing mark requirement, which makes no sense since the only studies on masks show they don't do much for aerosols, especially the homemade cloth ones. At least they could turn the heat down when requiring those things.

If I can give this 0 stars I would. This is the NOSIEST library ever. It might as well be called a playground or social hour hangout. I do not recommend visiting between the hours of 2 pm-6 pm. There's always a bunch of kids from the nearby Mathomedi high school or middle school that talk loudly and cause a lot of distractions. They don't even do homework or work on projects, they goof off! Kids under 5 come here in the afternoon playing with the toys and start crying. The parents try to console them instead of going home. The teens also take up the reserved rooms and still make noise. There's not a lot of space so you can hear other people talking across from you inside the meeting rooms and the front desk. DO NOT go here for a quiet space if you have professional meetings or job intervie
