Wow. What can I say Bill knows hospitality, he doesn’t have to try, he just is naturally hospitable. We arrived after a long day on the bike and he quickly showed us our rooms and where to shower and offered us tea. We were so cooked from breathing in dirt all day it was the best possible offering. We showered did laundry and sipped tea on the patio while sharing stories. Bill had a good sense when a couple of cyclists need their rest as well. We went off to bed and sleep excellently in the cozy cabins. The beds were so comfortable and everything was so clean and well put together. Breakfast was also including which was home made and included some incredible cinnamon rolls. If you’re doing the cdt or the gdmbr you HAVE to stay here. It’s important to note they only accept hikers and bikers

We stopped here while riding the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. I called the number on the sign and Bill came straight down and got my wife, myself and another friend who was riding with us, settled into the really nice cabins before giving us some local info on the town. When we got back from the Saloon and Store Bill and his wife invited us up to the deck for cake and ice cream where we had a great chat. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. There is a shower and washing machine there as well which are free to use. The services are only available for folks riding the gdmbr or hiking the CDT though.

Stayed here will riding the GDMBR. Outstanding hospitality and felt I was part of the family for short time I was there. The cabins are great and I had one of the best sleeps of my entire journey. Highly recommended for riders and non riders alike.

On my tour of the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, this was my favorite lodging. You'll feel like you have one foot in the 19th century. Bill and his wife show sincere, personal hospitality. The rooms and restroom/shower building are clean and show an attention to detail. Bill has a no alcohol/drug policy here. Breakfast was excellent. The pancakes kept coming until I was full. For the dollar value, nobody can touch it.
