Wiki Pizza

We were craving pizza so after seeing the good reviews we decided to try Wiki Pizza in the Hanalei Bay Resort. It's convenient to Princeville area. We got there at dusk, so could barely see Hanalei Bay from the open air dining room. It's a huge restaurant, very impressive looking, could be a high-end steakhouse. I imagine great views during daylight hours of the Bay and resort grounds. We started with the Italian Salad which was very fresh, and tried 2 different pizzas, traditional pepperoni and quattro formaggio which was recommended by a local. She drives halfway around the island to get this pizza. It's a white pizza (no red sauce) with fresh mozzarella and fresh ricotta topped with fresh basil - delicious! Highly recommend!! We were staying about a mile from the restaurant and decided to look for a pizza restaurant with good reviews. We settled on Wiki Pizza and decided to dine in. I’m so glad that we did!! Not only was the pizza delicious and fairly priced, but the atmosphere was amazing!!! Seriously, it’s the type of view that you’d expect to see at a fine dining restaurant. It’s honesty the most beautiful pizza place that I’ve ever been to - and the pizza quality matched the quality of the view!! I’ll definitely be back when I visit Kauai again!!!!

Ordered regular crust and seemed to have been given thin crust. Got takeout and should have checked before leaving. 🥲 But nearly no sauce, little cheese, burnt crust and little pepperoni for nearly $50. Better off going to Costco or making your own.

Well, this pizza does not disappoint. At first I thought - I'm eating pizza in Hawaii?!? Lived my whole life in NJ/NY area until recently where I've had to lower my standards a smidge to eat and enjoy pizza (and I'm ok with that)- and this place kills it! Just all around delicious pie!!! Had the NY pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and fresh basil. The roni was real roni cups that curl up when baked, not cheap gross roni. And the sausage was fresh and not too greasy with great flavor. The sauce/cheese ratio was on point and the flavor was fantastic. What I was most shocked about was the undercarriage of my pie - sturdy and well cooked. I wouldn't recommend adding too many toppings to your pizza (in general) as the weight can effect that sturdiness creating the dreaded "flop effect" - but

This place was a dud for us. The view is GORGEOUS… especially if you’re there for sunset. But the pizza was mediocre. And the mai tai was all juice. Took 3 beer choices from my husband for them to have what he wanted. The atmosphere was loud. The service was not very attentive. The pizza isn’t terrible if you need some quick food and you’re nearby. But other than that, this was the bottom of all the restaurants we visited in 10 days on the island.
