Whittwood Branch Library

Nice staff, fair book selection, but one of the LOUDEST libraries I’ve ever been in in my academic career. People loudly watching videos with no headphones, smacking their gums while eating, not using their inside speaking voice, lots of people with different abilities stimming loud as hell. I wish this place even tried to be a little quiet.

Great library with Passport Services and Veteran services too. Adorable kid section. Staff is super helpful and we especially appreciate toddler story time.

Came here all the time and was asked to leave by security because my bag was to big, the manager said this to him, when I had came in multiple times before and had no problems, and always loud from kids.

My children and I have been enjoying this library for almost 30 years. It is clean, organized, has a cute children's reading area with murals of old Whittier and an artificial orange tree, and the staff are super friendly and helpful!!! There is an office to get a passport and a tiny "store" to get used books for $1 and children's books for .25 cents each.

I love the Whittwood Branch Library where the children's section used to be up in the front and the adult was in the back. But they don't have those anymore. Now they remodeled the library, it's now different but nice and even my friend from La Serna High School Brittney Pilker used to work there.
