White Shepherd Coffee - Tollgate

Today I stopped by for the first time…two young gentleman working. Both friendly and authentic. My mocha definitely rated well above your typical, great flavor and depth. Of late, at my favorite local coffee shops in the area they’ve been subpar…so this was a really nice surprise.

The moment you walk in the staff greets you with a friendly smile. The place is always clean and the coffee and food is made it order. Hands down my favorite coffee shop!

Best coffee in middle Tennessee!! Also the best service! They know me and my order every time. They even helped me out to my car with my drinks and breakfast, truly a wonderful experience and great coffee every single time. Thank you guys!

I visited THE WHITE SHEPHERD at TOLLGATE recently and was looking forward to trying something new. As I looked over the menu, I took a bit of time to decide and added a few customizations to my order — nothing out of the ordinary, just small changes to make the drink right for me. While I was making my choices, the owner approached me and mentioned that I had been changing things around a lot. I understand that things can get busy, but as a customer, I believe it’s fairly normal to want to personalize an order — especially with coffee. The space itself is nice and the menu has some great options. I just left feeling a little uncomfortable from the interaction, which took away from the overall experience. Local coffee shop within walking distance of other shops and restaurants! We love White Shepherd. The matcha is high quality and so delicious. The staff is always so accommodating and quite literally the friendliest people on earth. Try the Cuban next time you’re in!
