The service was above average, and the food and atmosphere were really good for the price. I’ve paid 10x what the food here cost at other restaurants and still been disappointed, so this place’s food was a nice refresher. I would definitely recommend!

Alana was a delight and the drinks in particular were all great (recommend the Milk Punch ans Ramos in Fizz) - the Redfish Florentine and S’mores Bread Pudding slapped

First time here. The food was pretty good. Prices are reasonable, too. Our waitress was fine, but she seemed to lose interest when we didn't order wine or some other alcoholic drinks. The decor is humorous, what with the painted-over El Jarrito motif, but the bar seemed to fit that style. Funny. Anyway, and unfortunately, we left with a sour aftertaste when, after signing our ticket and having some old friends stop at our table on the way out, a young lady very rudely interrupted our conversation to ask if we wanted to-go drinks. Wow. I can assume many things, but it was obvious that management needed our table. I guess if you're not buying shots, it's best to eat and get on outta here. Hopefully, somebody in charge will read this and save a customer or two to make up for our nev

We had a beautiful night there. The server, Lucy B, was excellent and the Chef made some amazing dishes. We were there for La Tech’s homecoming and I had the Redfish Florentine (a dish that should be a main staple there in my opinion). I’ve lived over a half a century and it was one of the best fish plates I’ve ever had. We will return, and they’re building a second location in downtown Ruston!! Woohoo!!
