Whistle Stop

On a visit to our daughter for Mother's Day we stayed for the first time at Whistle Stop. The location was great with no hotels within 45 minutes of Louisa. The owner, Trecia Jenkins, was a tremendous hostess and cook. The breakfasts were delicious and the hospitality genuine and friendly. The furnishings were eclectic and showed the history of the community and our country for the past 100 years. Our room was comfortable as well. We will come back again and again. The value is significantly better than the adjacent B&B and the closest hotel.

Our one night stay in Louisa afforded us an opportunity to stay at the charming Whistle Stop. Upon arrival, the scent of blooming flowers from the surrounding gardens and the sound of bubbling water from various little outdoor fountains greeted us as we made our way to the front door. After meeting the warm and friendly inn keeper, we settled into our room. ||||While our visit did not give us much time to explore the property, the room was filled with charm and character. It was clear a lot of thought and time went into the decor. Functionally, the bed was very comfortable and clean. The private bathroom, though small, had a shower, toilet, and sink. It too was both comfortable and clean. The only downside to the room was the window AC unit. While it kept the temperature tolerable, it just

Whistle Stop is a wonderful B&B. The house and rooms are spic and span clean with comfortable bedding. The owner/hostess is an excellent cook who puts out delicious, hot, tasty breakfasts. She is a delightful person and we so enjoyed her warm personality and southern hospitality. In comparison to other nearby accommodations, we found the Whistle Stop to be affordable and a great value. This will be our choice the next time we visit.

Our stay at The Whistle Stop B&B with Trecia was wonderful, She has so many beautiful antiques you can spend hours just looking at them all, Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast consisted of homemade big fluffy egg and cheese omelets, homemade blueberry muffins, Fresh pork sausage, fresh cut up fruit of which apples were from her own apple trees, home-fries and apple crisp with cool whip. ||My daughter and I were attending a local event and had never been to Louisa, I found her Bed and Breakfast by searching Google :) We will definitely be seeing Trecia again whenever we want friendly conversation, Delicious homemade breakfast and a relaxing weekend.

My husband and I booked a room last minute and the owner was wonderful. We were greeted us with a warm smile. It was like visiting a relative. She treated us like family. The room was clean. Breakfast was very good and she catered to our needs. We will be recommending her bed and breakfast to all our friends. Our room suite featured a queen size bed and private bath. The establishment is right in town close to businesses and restaurants. Safe. Only 15 minutes from Lake Anna and Power Plant. Her rooms are affordable with a very nice breakfast included.
