Whistle Stop Bakery

The 1st thing I noticed was how clean it is!! The decor is precious and helps capture the essence of a small town bakery. My service is great everytime. The cheesecake is a must try as it is the speciality of Mrs. Kimberly. Then there's the fresh baked goods made every morning she's open. The most flaky, buttery, delicious Danish ever! The cookies and cupcakes are not overly sweet and serve a chewy bite, which I can't figure out how she accomplishes. I've also seen custom cakes she has made and I'm left in awe each time at the detail and flavor she's able to pull off. Whistlestop is gem to our small town. It's serving Gilmore Girls vibes all year round.

I have been meaning to stop into Whistle Stop since they opened, finally did, and WOW! The lemon bars - so smooth and lemony, but creamy too, with a fresh, yummy shortbread cookie crust, the heath bar cookie was amazing, and the cheesecakes... the best I've had in a long, long time (like 20+ years!) It reminded me of cheesecake back when people used real, fresh ingredients, and it was the real deal of deliciousness! Like when you go to that one in a million restaurant and say, wow, this cheesecake is amazing! My favorite was the strawberry, but the creme brulee and oreo were the same creme de la creme of cheesecakes, in my opinion, too! Whistle Stop Bakery has a wonderful, nostalgic ambience for kids and adults alike, and the goodies are top quality!

Our dear friend brought us a cinnamon cheesecake for my husband’s birthday last night. It is so wonderful. The crust has the perfect amount of cinnamon and crunch to balance the delicate cinnamon vanilla cheesecake filling that positively melts in your mouth. I can’t wait to come visit the town square and stop by in person some day!
