Whiskers Catnip Cottage

Had the best experience with my partner here. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and we were the only two people in the lounge. I didn't make it through the door before I was greeted by 3 kitties. The atmosphere was super relaxing and bright, the cats were friendly. The timing was relaxed and we didn't feel rushed at all and didn't have to wait since we were the only ones as well. I will definitely come back when next time I'm around the Columbus area.

Booked a time slot today for 7 of us for my daughter’s 5th birthday so we could come play with some kitties! All the ladies in my family are big cat ppl and this was a BLAST! I loved the rooms and how cute everything was, and you got to really interact and play right here cats. We got some treats to pass out, played lasers with them, and there was various cat toys around the rooms to grab and play with too. If you are looking to adopt you can really get to see how the cats each are and interact with you and I think that’s so special! We will 100% be back again!!

Julie and the rest of the team at the Catnip Cottage are phenomenal. They truly deeply LOVE these cats and what they do! They know their cats well and want to give them the perfect home, so they work hard to find the right fit and make sure things work out for everyone. I just adopted a cutie named Ozzy from them and he’s been struggling to adjust, so Julie came all the way out to our apartment herself to provide some familiar comfort and coax him to eat and it worked. The adoption process was easy and speedy. Also, just a fun place to chill with some really adorable kitties! Highly highly recommend working with them :) Please donate, they do awesome work here!

Recently i found a stray kitten in our back yard that was skin and bones! I unfortunately cannot take in another cat [i already have 2 and our lease doesn't allow more than that]. After calling so many shelters, Catnip Cottage offered to take her in, and I am so grateful! She was such a pretty, precious little kitten, and seeing how healthy all the cats where when I arrived, I have no doubt she's doing well! attached are pictures i got of the little girl before I took her to Catnip Cottage. I hope she's doing well, and thank you guys again! You are awesome! PS if anyone ends up visiting and seeing her in the future, please give her so many kisses and love for me.

I adopted from Whiskers last year and they were AMAZING to work with!! I found a cat I liked on their petfinder page and submitted an inquiry. Julie reached out within the hour and gave me more info on the cat and gave me info on another available cat that seemed to fit better. After meeting the second cat I decided she was perfect, and I picked her up and took her home that day! (Not to mention it was Christmas Eve!) I’ve adopted from other shelters before and they’ve not had the same care and attention to detail as Whiskers.I will never adopt from anyone else!
