Customer Reviews
The food was absolutely incredible from start to finish, and the service was just as impressive. Everything came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The portions were generous and definitely filling, especially for the price—you truly get more than your money’s worth here. I had the half chicken with cream corn and baked beans, and it was cooked perfectly: juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. My wife went with the brisket and pulled pork, paired with green beans and potato salad, and every bite was a winner. The meats were tender, smoky, and full of flavor, and the sides were just as good as the mains. The reviews were 100% spot on. This place lives up to the hype and then some. If you’re even thinking about trying it, do yourself a favor and go, you won’t be disappointed. We’
We eat at this restaurant frequently. Everything you order is homemade and delicious. All of their meats are fantastic and their homemade potato salad and baked beans are the best in Wichita! The weekly specials are unique and are some of my favorites to order. This week is macaroni and cheese and lobster which was probably my favorite meal they serve. The lobster was smoky, buttery and a bit of spice. Superb! They are always so friendly to their customers and we love supporting this local barbecue restaurant! .
Ham was good, could have had a little more sweet taste, turkey was tender but salty as most turkey is. Service was excellent. Was quiet atmosphere with calm Christian music, so we were able to talk. Bathroom was roomy and clean. Homemade cream corn was amazing. Meat portions were large.
The BBQ ribs and brisket were super dry tasted like they were cooked days ago then warmed up.. Cream corn ahh, not exactly cream corn, it's full kernels with sauce. Us elderly folks don't be fooled.. lol.. I ate one rib and a smidgen of brisket and the bread, which was the best part, the bread was great. Yeah, I was not impressed by any means.. Also found it interesting that the guy at the counter served all others but called my elderly father and I to the counter to get our trays.. I even said "interesting" because it was a strange feeling to see him gladly take trays to others but just not us, it really made me feel awkward and not welcome, so we won't be back.
Nice BBQ place. Had the loaded potato with brisket, my wife had the brisket. Great flavor and friendly atmosphere.
