Customer Reviews
My friends & I needed a southern taste & they did not miss! The fries underneath the wings were top tier. The owner is very personable & in tune with the community. Would definitely visit this place again.
This place was AWESOME! Kim— the lady at the front was SO friendly. The vibe here is incredible. I had the Cajun wings along with their brisket sandwich and this is probably the best food I had all year! I’m incredibly satisfied. Thank you so much. I’ll be coming here again (with friends) 100%!
Everything was so yummy! We had our order and was given samples of ribs and banana pudding. I advise everyone to experience this awesome flavor combination with perfected seasoning!
Thank you Mr. Poppa Joe for a great meal with my family. Not only did he offer us princess parking when he saw I was in a wheelchair but his staff went above and beyond to make my order just how I like it, despite that not being their standard. We had brisket baked potatoes, boudin balls, chicken tenders, brisket taco, and a fish taco. Everything was delicious. My husband said the fish tacos and the sauce on it were super salty but that didn’t stop him from eating the whole thing. The vibes were great, but it is a college campus restaurant so the music videos were tailored to that crowd. If you have young kids, the explicit lyrics are something to be mindful of. Use your own judgment.
The food was really good. fries were decadent and the bread for the turkey sandwich that I got was so soft and buttery. I also tried the dirty rice stuffed turkey leg, topped with alfredo sauce and that was bomb, y’all. Come try that. And then the funnel fries were for the so good. If you want a little sweet treat, save it for later, put it in the air fryer and it’ll be good.
