Whacko Gringo

The food here is decent! Its akin to a Chipolte or Fajita grill but with more varied and tasty toppings. The problem is the price - the pictured burrito, as girthy as it is, cost 17 dollars. (It came with a handfull of tortilla chips and nothing to dip them in) This resturaunt suffers from the "everything beyond ground beef costs extra" business model. Some of the more eggregious items are: +1$ extra for a tortilla (The item is listed as burrito on their menu, not burrito bowl) +2-3$ price hike for any change in protein +2$ dollar price hike for a scoop of guacamole +3-4.50$ dollar price hike for extra protein Maybe good to go once for the novelty, but if you eat here regularly you may have to take out a loan.

Tables need to be cleaned more often (all tables were yicky) used a napkin to wipe one down to sit and it was black after one wipe. It had been awhile BUT the food is WOW! Queso and chips is huge - 12 oz container filked with hot queso, 8" x 10" tray filled w homemade chips - a meal in itself. Everything we had was served piping hot and delicious. Unique atmosphere. Limited adult drink menu but we found something we liked. You order food at counter then they bring your food to your table. Order alcoholic drinks at another counter, odd set up. Food is great.

I wanted mexican food and an acid bowl for dessert so this was the place to go. I got the crunch wrapped beef tacos and they were very delicious. I would not recommend getting the rice or black beans with it, as they both had no flavor. My husband got the carne asada tacos & he said they had no seasoning at all. The acai smoothie bowl was awesome as were the chips. I would recommend this place as it seemed very popular and encourage you to make your own opinions. There was a guy on their patio who played the guitar and sang who was very good. They also had a bar for your enjoyment.

So I’m so late to the party but I totally just tried wacko gringo for the first time and I am so impressed! Now I did order through DoorDash but my food was hot and fresh when it was delivered and this definitely lived up to all the hype! The build your own burrito bowl was absolutely amazing! The only thing I would have done differently was tried this way sooner! Definitely will have to dine in house next and try some of their other menu options, but over all, if you haven’t already, give them a try! I will definitely order again

The wings could have been cooked a little longer they were chewy but the sauce was really good the banana pudding was no good I had to trash it The rice had a weird taste that I cant describe and was dry Now the Tacos I would definitely recommend no complaints with that at all The churros I would give another try The Birria baked potato was amazing the only thing It need some sort of sauce it was beyond dry and the potatoes could have been cooked a little longer but all the flavors went well together I would definitely try that again Overall I would definitely recommend this spot
