Wetzel's Pretzels

Chewy, doughy, cheesy, and topped with hot Cheetos and jalepenos, what more could you want? Wetzside pretzels in South Gate has $10 delcious loaded pretzel bites that are great to snack on and to share. If you want something even cheesier, get their mozzarella sticks that come out hot and fresh and super stringy. The pull is just so satisfying. My favorite item is their pizza roll topped with butter, Parmesan and ranch. I love the salty pepperoni And yes the cheese also hits. 2/18/2026 As soon as I walked in it felt very uncomfortable. Only one person working behind the counter and he was making 1 pretzel. There were only two options the Wetzel’s bitz pizza or two pretzels that looked somewhat fresh but maybe not. No greeting no anything it looked as if we were bothering the only staff member there. His personal cell phone sitting on top of the same counter that had flour on it where you roll/make the pretzels! Disgusting!! And what looked like his lunch in a Tupperware sitting inside the warming case the pretzels were sitting in. That, I didn’t even notice until I walked out and my son said something. We purchase the two pretzels, we asked for them to be salted and that seemed like it bothered the worker. Asking for cheese bothered the worker. We walk out an

Wetzel’s I beg you please properly staff your store, your profits will be fine I PROMISE YOU‼️ Should be zero reason why there’s only a single poor employee by herself on a Friday afternoon, shame. The quality of the food will increase too, naturally. Had to leave because I’m not contributing to this employees stress. Get it together, you’re a hundred million dollar company

I was excited when Wetzel’s Pretzels opened and couldn’t wait to try it. The first few visits were just okay—decent taste, but overpriced. Then I had one fresh out of the oven, and it was amazing—totally worth it. Sadly, every visit since has been a letdown: cold, stale pretzels for nearly $10. If the quality doesn’t become more consistent, I don’t see this location lasting. I can get a hot pretzel at the mall—why not here?

Unhelpful, unfriendly staff, lazy, nothing made fresh to order. Old items, extra slim & crunchy pretzel not soft and puffy. Pretzel was old and hard as a rock. One solid star.
