West Fork Library

This is one of our favorite local libraries! The small town of West Fork has a newly updated library with a great selection of books for all ages! They have a large dvd section along with a small kids area too. The library hall building is next door where they host events and book sales and they have a small section of books for sale in the library too. There are comfy chairs, computers, a meeting room, multiple bathrooms, a butterfly garden in the front, and tables to work at. The head librarian Marie is wonderful and plans a calendar full of exciting events every month that my whole family always enjoys attending. If you are driving through or live nearby, check out this library!

I have only lived in West Fork for a few years, but I absolutely love their library! Good book selection, with often the hottest books around available with a short wait in hardback (my favorite). They have a lot of community programming, local town field trips and cool activities are always being advertised, and it seems the entire town turns out anytime they have an auction or sale to benefit the library. Their staff might be the friendliest that I have ever encountered- which is saying a lot considering librarians are generally some of the best people. Libraries are so important for a thriving community and this one is doing it right!

Visited the library for the first time since the renovation and it was so nice. My family and I were greeted with friendly smiles from both employees and community members. You could tell it was a nice, tight-knit community where people support each other. There's a small area in the library for children to play in which was perfect for my 18 mo old son and staff was ok with the excited squeals and laughs. We will definitely come back when we're in the area.

The woman who always helps me is so warm and welcoming! I believe her name is Marie. She multitasked, making copies from one book, carrying on a conversation with me, tracking what else was going on in the Library, checking in my books and not missing a beat when we got to the last book... which had gotten wet in the recent storm. She efficiently checked the price for me to purchase the damaged book... Remembering to ask me if I wanted the copies stapled, and simultaneously handing me a Post-It note letting me know what I owe for the damaged book and past due book fees! Whew! I Amvdo grateful for the lovely experience I enjoy whenever I get to visit the West Fork Library! 😇

The employees here are so nice. They helped me send in my college scholarship papers and did it for free! I recommend this library over Fayetteville any day. Professional, helpful, kind, and intelligent!
