West Bridgewater Country Club

First time there Saturday (11/3/2024) and had a great time. Layout is a little tough with some narrow fairways as well as water hazard but it was a great challenge. Front 9 is fairly open to other holes while the back 9 is tucked away. The price for 18 with a cart is fantastic. Overall our foursome had a great time.

West Bridgewater Country Club. The course was in good condition, and the pro shop and bar staff were extremely friendly. However, the first tee attendant, Steve, would benefit from additional training and customer service refinement. Notably, I encountered unusually large groups, including a sixsome and a fivesome, on a Friday. Took what was a normal paced round to a complete halt on the back. When I asked Starter why they had a 5 and a 6 out on the course, he was just as unpleasant as the other two other encounters we had.

Nice course, pretty challenging. Tough to navigate if you're unfamiliar with the course. Needs more signage.

Would be one of the best courses for a low-key round on the South Shore… if it weren’t for the staff- All older men who are extremely rude, for literally no reason other than possibly hating their own lives. If you can ignore them, it’s a fantastic place to play golf & the conditions are always superb.

Very cool track! Solid length. Not too quirky. Hits the sweet spot between challenging and gettable. Plenty of birdies to find on the front 9. Back 9 is a narrow survival test. Price is fair. The starter is definitely what other reviews say he is. However, I hate the direction golf course behavior is going (treating it like a tailgate). I'm actually okay with seeing a course willing to have some enforcement when people really don't know how to act out there. For example, someone in another group plucked my ball out of the 10th fairway and put it in his pocket, which was some of the most bizarre behavior I've ever seen. It got a little slow on the back 9, but I would play here all the time if I lived nearby.
