West Bloomfield Township Public Library

Ive been a patron at this library since 1995. However today is the first day I've decided to leave a review. The library has a female library staff who asked that I push a chair back but proceeded to keep instructing me as I was doing it like I was a child. I pushed the chair back but found her demeanor what is wrong with people who work in places they don't reside. Lacking tact and respect. I'm truly disappointed as this same library staff was outraged by my moving a chair but sat unaware of a man sitting less than two feet away who had his pants pulled down around his knees beginning of November. Today was the first time in 10+ years I’ve been here, lots of things have changed, there’s no computer lab anymore, I approached the lady at the desk and asked if she would help me to use a computer program, she was happy to and also mentioned any of them could help and was extremely nice about everything, I decided to use the kids room because I knew I’d have to make phone calls while I worked, Justine & Caroline were so amazing and made sure they helped me, I was so comfortable to ask any questions. Definatly will find every excuse to spend time here in the future and take advantage of their events and classes! Thank you for exceeding my expectations and being so awesome!

Bright, colorful and welcoming. We went during covid, so many of the kids activities were closed. The staff seemed friendly enough, but didn’t ask to help or offer to check out additional toys and games, until we’d been there for over and hour. Plan to give it another try in the future.

Great library, fun place for kids, has lots of activities to keep the little ones engaged. Learn & Play!

No one speaks louder than the staff. Screaming and laughing with each other while people are trying to study. Come on, go into your break room or something. Emily and Sarah and other co worker please quiet down while working. This is extremely stressful.
