I'm a student at UMN. After studying at Wilson Library next door in the evenings, I come to this restaurant for dinner. I've eaten here several times, and overall, I find it just average. 1. The service is extremely slow, especially for Asian or white customers and other non-Muslim groups. On multiple occasions, I've waited over half an hour before going to the front desk to inquire. I was told they hadn't even started preparing my order yet, and they didn't seem to care. If I hadn't asked, I doubt they would have served me at all. The front desk staff are rude, and there are no consistent servers. 2. The environment is mediocre. Tables are often left uncleaned with trash on them, and there are various unsavory characters hanging around. 3. The portions are generous and extremely affordabl

Please always watch you orders they shortened you portions of meat you have paid for, I have order sports few times with 3 different choice of meat like Philly steak, beef sukar and chicken legs. I only received Philly steak. I call store to report not successfully. I do have pictures to proof this statement.

Portions were very large. We ordered the somosas, goat, chicken steak, and chicken suqaar. The goat was tender and cooked to perfection and the flavors of both chicken dishes were delicious. The mango lassi and tea with milk was perfect with the meal. It was my first time trying somali food and definitely not my last.

Their food is so good but it takes for ever , restaurant is understaffed and you have to be in line for almost an hour.
