West Babylon Public Library

My kids had a great time at the library and didn’t want to leave! So much fun and so much to do in a rainy day. Highly recommend

I didn't know what I was doing. I walked in needing to print an email off of my phone. They were extremely helpful and helped me through the whole process. Not to mention it cost a quarter of the price that it would have at the UPS store!

This Library has very polite and professional librarians. The entire staff is very knowledgeable as well. The library building is clean and well maintained. Parking is never an issue because, this library has its own parking lot as well.

I came to the West Babylon Public Library with my two young children and my mother, and the experience was extremely upsetting. While my 2-year-old was playing in the children’s section, the security guard yelled at him directly, making him cry, instead of addressing me or my mom (who was supervising him). When I calmly told the guard that it is not appropriate to speak to a toddler that way, another staff member who wasn’t even involved came over, puffed her chest out at me, and told me to “relax” instead of addressing the situation. This isn’t an isolated incident — we have repeatedly been followed around and policed by the same guard when visiting the library. The behavior feels discriminatory and unwelcoming. It's always been a wonderful place to go and relax and read a book,pick up a few movies. The staff is always very friendly and super helpful.
