Wendy's

Read it all! I went today during lunch hour and my food was the best Wendy’s I’ve had in a while! My burger was fresh and hot, my fries were fresh and crispy, and the sprite must’ve just had a bag/filter change! I was thanked and got in and out of the drive thru within 5 minutes or so. My points were used with no problem. And overall, my experience was pleasant. I hate that people are so quick to blast the negative but won’t give positive credit when due. People didn’t give this restaurant a chance. They bombarded the reviews with negativity knowing it was the newest fast food spot in the area in a while! People sat in a drive thru line that was already long and then complained about a wait. Give the place a chance for yourselves! They earned another visit or three from me.

On 9/18/2024 10:53pm, my husband and I ordered food thru the drive-thru. Our order total was $35.96. We waited to pay for 15 minutes while the supervisor was interacting with friends at the cashier window and then at the pickup window. Then some rude cashier finally opened the window and said to me, “you know you could just go to the next window even tho we hadn’t paid. I should’ve proceeded to the next window and took the food without paying to teach them a lesson but I have morals. So I told the rude girl that I hadn’t yet paid and gave her my card. She rang me up but of course, no thank you. Then I proceed to the pick up window where I am greeted by the manager on duty. He personally handed me our food. We were missing 2 drinks and 1/2 our food was cold and old. My husband had to get o

Went through the drive through 10:49 pm Monday Jun 17 We asked about the kids drink and they said they had no kids cups. We asked for them to fill the cup at least, we even asked for more ice. The employee refused with attitude so we asked for the manager. She came to the windows with an attitude as well. We offered to pay to have it filled. After we argued they said we can buy another one. At that point we pulled off. The attitudes of the employees at this wendys at night is always horrible. I wonder how many more complaints they need to start getting their employees together.

I usually don’t leave reviews but I’ve never encountered such poor customer service in my entire 30 years of living. They do not care, and could care less how rude they are. You don’t have to live your job but you also don’t have to be rude. I see them closing soon due to this issue.

I will NEVER come back to this Wendy’s in East Chicago. The workers here are flat-out RUDE and have zero customer service skills. The girl with the nappy red weave had one of the nastiest attitudes I’ve ever experienced in a fast food place. She acted like taking my order was an inconvenience, rolled her eyes, and practically threw my food at me. No smile, no “thank you,” nothing but pure attitude. The rest of the crew wasn’t much better—slow, unprofessional, and clearly don’t care about their jobs or the customers. If you want to be disrespected while paying for overpriced food, this is the place for you. Otherwise, take your money somewhere else.
