Wendy's

I wanted to show my support to my favorite but struggled fast food chain. But the Derby Wendy's must be struggling to find employees. I went there on a Saturday at 5pm and only the drive through was open. there were about 7 cars in line, several grew tired of waiting and left. After I ordered and paid I was told to pull forward and wait for my food to be delivered. It took at least 12 minutes to receive my food. Not a "Fast Food" experience, the Diner next store would have been quicker. The food quality was there. Me and my BF are happy with their burgers and frosty. Don’t go there at dinner time on the weekend or be prepared to wait like a diner!

Came for a quick bite for breakfast and completely regretted it. Sandwich was disgusting, bacon not cooked, and the French toast almost gave me a heart attack from the grease it was sitting in. Staff didn't seem to care much for the upkeep of the place, which should be clean so early in the morning. Stains and cobwebs everywhere. Don't waste your money here. I quit fast food.

Really disappointed with this Wendy’s visit. The chicken sandwich was severely undercooked — I got stomach sick after just a few bites. Fries were hot and crispy, but that’s about the only positive. The strawberry lemonade was good, too. The cashier at the drive-thru window didn’t say a single word to me — no greeting, no total, nothing — just handed me the drink and moved on. Unprofessional and unpleasant experience overall.

On 10/18/25 at approximately 11:45 PM, I pulled up to the drive-thru and was immediately told, “Hi, we’re closed,” as soon as I reached the ordering speaker. When I asked why, since the posted closing time is midnight, I was told they had “run out of meat.” I find that very hard to believe and it seemed more like the employee simply didn’t want to take any more orders. Anyway, I hope she no longer works night shift if she can’t handle it.

It’s been a while since my last visit to this location and things have taken a turn for the worse… It started with me ordering the $6 Biggie Bag and asking for a total. Why I wasn’t given a total and had to ask for it is another issue. I was then told $7.51, so I asked how this could be. At that point, the woman Working the drive thru said, “Oh, you want the small?” I said yeah, the $6 one that I asked for. Strike one… I was asked which sauce I wanted, and I specified that I wanted the hot sauce, which turned out to not matter - after paying and being given my stuff, I found a parking space and figured I would take a quick lunch break and parked.
