Wellington's

Very nice hotel restaurant. People visit despite not staying at the hotel. I’ve had both breakfast and dinner here and the service and food is very good. I don’t find it to be a British pub but apparently it is. As you’d expect, the liquor, wine and beer lists are very extensive. The wings are great and so is the burger. They have a few sweet options if you’re looking for that as well. Seating is first come first serve and usually pretty active in the evening regardless of day of the week. Mornings seem to be a bit less busy but the coffee is good, hot and fresh!

January 2024: Ordered a burger and fries with a beer on a Tuesday evening. Burger was tasty. It could have used a little more salt, but not a big issue. Fries were good. Beer options included two local offerings plus the usual standards. Would come back again. Note that the main restaurant was relocated to a third floor ballroom. I am not sure why the first floor space wasn't used. But the atmosphere of the ballroom is a bit sad.

I had the breakfast buffet here as Bonvoy elite member and it was excellent. The lady waiter was very nice and welcoming and the breakfast spread was super tasty. There were your typical hot items in scrambled eggs, bacon, and potatoes but there was a lot of fresh fruit including berries as well as smoked salmon.

The food was ok. It's not well seasoned but on the bland side. They were unstaff, which led to slow service. The creme brulee was top off with fresh fruit. It was nice and rich. In addition, the drinks were good.

A solid hotel bar with a good vibe. My bartender Lidia was excellent. She was personable, professional and made terrific cocktails. The food was good as well. I enjoyed my Kale Chicken Ceasar Salad and the fries were delicious. It was a nice place to chill and reset after a long day at work. Considering that there wasn't any bars and restaurants in walking distance, this was a terrific solution to have an enjoyable experience right inside the hotel. Definitely a positive experience.
