Welik Mexican Cuisine

I love a great surprise while traveling for work. Welik did not disappoint me last night. I sat at the bar and who I assumed was the owner suggested a prickly pear margarita and the seafood pablano dish. My meal was some of the best Mexican food I have had since my visit to El Paso. Please do yourself a favor if you live in the area and make it a weekly stop. Don't let this place go under because of lack of advertising. This place is a gem!

We love this restaurant! We have been searching for a closer great Mexican restaurant that compares to La Cocina. Now with Welik we have found it. I have tried lots of options and fell in love with their molcajete. The sauce is so thick and delicious. All the food has great flavor and salsa is made in house. The atmosphere is really artistic and the large windows let a lot of natural light in. I got to see the owner every time we arrive so it feels very family run. Definitely give this place a try. I'm sure you won't regret it.

Fantastic service, delicious and fresh food. One of my regular spots and every time my experience is amazing here. Their chips and salsa are amazing. The fajitas and burritos are also great

The food was amazing! We ordered the chimichanga con carne asada and the grilled chicken quesadilla, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The salsa had just the right amount of heat to complement the meal without overpowering it. We’ll definitely be back!

We came to the restaurant for a family lunch on a Saturday. The location is really lovely, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The food was delicious, with a wide and colorful variety of dishes. The service was friendly and fast. We had a great time and would definitely come again!
