Wayne's Country Fresh Meat Ft Ashby

Wish I had more time to explore this wonderful store! Came in for meats in bulk but was amazed by the selection for everything grocery and a bit more. Staff were very helpful getting my order together and even had set it aside after I called to ensure it wasn’t sold. The prices were solid and everything we bought was terrific! Don’t go to the big supermarket but rather support local!

If you'd like a traditional grocery store that isn't part of a big chain which is more mom and pop. They have the highest quality meets here and it's far better than anything you'd get and a traditional supermarket. You also have wonderful people here who are very friendly and welcoming. The people here know their business and I would highly recommend them if you want to get high quality meat. I always enjoy coming here.

Love this place, the employees are kind and friendly. The owners are not stuck up corporate people who only care for and look out for themselves like other businesses. Has a beautiful country style setting that brings out the environment of the town it is in.

I've been a customer of Wayne's for a couple years. There is no denying they do a fantastic job raising beef. Their steaks are delicious and typically I would buy from the meat counter. To cut down on driving there, I decided to purchase a whole beef from them, a little over $2000. What I received is something you would never see behind the glass at the store, 2" x 6" NY Strips, rib steaks that barely have a cap (there are pictures in other reviews of the ribeyes you will typically see in the meat case) and filets maybe the size of a half dollar coin. Its disappointing that they would pass something like this off to a customer who spent a substantial amount of money for decent cuts of meat knowing they would not display this in their own market.
