Wayback Burgers

I first saw this places ad for a nine patty burger. Well I have to try that was my first thought. Second thought was I know I can't eat all that! It isnt on the menu, but they will put the order in for ya! I asked for it and he asked me "are you serious?" Lol. This place has a tasty burger. Its the junior size not jumbo, but big enough for the average carnivore. Fries and tots cooked just right. Sweet tea was excellent. I definitely recommend this place. I have to visit a few more times to finish the menu.

⸻ My recent visit to Wayback Burgers was extremely disappointing, especially given the price point and expectations for a date night. After placing our order, we noticed the dining area was unacceptably dirty. The floors were filthy, and the tables were sticky—even after asking staff to clean them. Unfortunately, the food did not make up for the environment. The burgers were mediocre at best and certainly did not justify the cost. What was most concerning, however, was the manager’s response. When we raised the cleanliness issue, there was no effort to resolve it or show concern. Instead, the response was dismissive: “Ok then. The food was absolutely delicious. The vegetables on the burger were crisp and fresh and the fries were amazing. The cheese curds also tasted great. Even the soda mix they use in their machines tastes fantastic, and the restaurant is clean and well decorated. There is very comfortable seating, and the staff were absolutely fantastic. Their milkshakes are the best I ever had, the cinnamon toast crunch and the Oreo flavors especially.

This was my second time trying Wayback. The first time was pretty good and warranted a second go. Both times I picked up a to-go order. I will say the inside could use a good scrubbing but the service is very friendly and I was taking to go anyways. We ordered hot dogs and customized burgers. I am thankful that build your own is an option, since I tend to add a lot of toppings. When ordering we were deciding between this place and another fast burger shop, and Wayback is about half the price! The hot dogs were pretty good - the jalapeños had a little spice which was great. My husband said his chili dog was good, standard fast food chili (though he added better than some other fast chilis). The burgers were tasty and had good texture. Wayback burger is exactly what we wanted. We were looking for a great burger at value pricing and that’s precisely what we got. There’s plenty of $18 hamburgers around PCB but do they deliver a result that’s on par with the price? Most you would emphatically answer, NO. 

Wayback burger is a simple and delicious burger at a reasonable price. The sides were great and the portion sizes were ample.

My son and I both had bacon double cheeseburgers, the Cajun tots, onion rings and buffalo chicken strips. Everything we had was 5 star except the chicken strips - those were just okay to me. The staff was friendly, the service was impeccable. I give my highest recommendation.
