I grew up on Wawa in South Jersey in the 80s and 90s. They have evolved significantly, and their food has been fairly good over the years. I was hungry so I came on in and order something very simple. A chicken biscuit with bacon. The food was made very fast, which I brought out to the car for the ride home. I was about a quarter of the way home, when I opened it up dashboard for a little bit, because it wasn't warm at all. I opened up the sandwich where there was three or four pieces of bacon. But the bacon was not only pathetic looking in size, and it was chewy. The chicken itself was just the same chicken tenders they use for lunch. I guess I was expecting something different. Brand new! Huge store, clean bathrooms, friendly staff. Hoagie was ready before I could even pay!
