Wawa

Being from PA, Wawa has been a staple of mine since childhood. Now that I'm an adult, it's great to see a Wawa that is also a truck stop. Not many truck spaces, but a truck stop none the less. I love being able to grab a quick coffee and breakfast sandwich in the morning or a hoagie in the afternoon. The staff here is always friendly and helpful and treat truckers with respect unlike that other Fuel chain who has a rodent for a mascot and hates truck drivers. I hope they put a few more of these truck stops in.

Clean, modern facilities with a great food and drink selection. They have Tesla Super chargers. Surprised there are no showers for truckers, though there is a CAT scale. The trucker lot is smaller than expected. It was very busy (30+ min food wait), but that’s understandable for opening week—normally Wawa service is much faster. Overall, 5/5 stars. I also flew my drone and captured some great exterior photos. I offered them to the manager free of charge (I fly as a hobby), but he wasn’t interested.

Outstanding stop for EV drivers—especially with trailers. Wawa absolutely nailed it at this location. Four pull-through charging stations make it incredibly easy for trucks towing trailers—no awkward backing or unhooking required—plus another ~16 Tesla chargers for everyone else. Charging was fast and hassle-free. The bathrooms were spotless, and the store itself was well stocked with tons of food, drinks, and amenities, making it a genuinely comfortable break on the road. Clean, convenient, EV-friendly, and thoughtfully designed—this is how charging stops should be done.

I had high hopes for your First Travel Center, especially as a fan of Wawa, but my recent visit left a lot to be desired. I immediately noticed that the bathroom was in need of thorough cleaning, which was quite off-putting. I my pumpkin spice coffee, expecting the rich, seasonal flavor that Wawa is known for, but I was disappointed to find it was incredibly watered down and lacked the bold taste I anticipated. To make matters worse, while refueling my vehicle, the gas pump stopped before my tank filled completely. I didn’t realize it until I was already on I-95, which left me feeling uneasy about my fuel situation for the remainder of my drive. Clean. Ample Tesla charging spaces and designated Tesla towing chargers. Everything you love about the Wawa chain. Food was delicious and freshly made. Semi truck parking, fuel and a CAT weigh station too.
