Watsons Lakeside BBQ & Boils

Great addition to the area. The food was great and the outside seating was perfect if you can tolerate flies. My only criticism is the staff was overwhelmed, they could use another two waitresses. I had the three meat plate and it was 17.99! Worth trying for sure. Bar seating also available.

I would not recommend this location! Some friends and I tried to go in for a pre-birthday dinner. We were all dressed nice & was super respectful, did not come in minutes before closing… As soon as we opened the door- the guests, and the bartender, looked at us as though we were uninvited guest to a party! We were seated & then ignored for the next 10-15 minutes. We eventually left & went to La Finca, where we had the absolute best care & service! I doubt they even noticed us leave because they definitely didn’t act like they noticed us while we were there! My female cousin, who does not appear black & has been multiple times before, even mentioned the difference in service whenever she entered with non-blacks, during PEAK business hours versus her going with us (but what do I know?🥴)

This spot is ON POINT Home cooked BBQ lakeside smoked ONSITE Best of all is community! The staff and owners stand for what the believe in.

Heard good things about this place so I tried it. The chopped brisket was tender and had great flavor. We had the beans, Mac and cheese, potato salad, and the corn salad. My issue is I can't figure out which side I liked best!! It was all great and I highly recommend Watson's BBQ. I will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed some delicious barbeque during a short stop on our road trip.
