Warwick Public Library: Central Library

Wonderful library. The staff is fantastic. The study rooms and conference rooms are great. The childrens room has lots to do for the delight of the children. The collection is large and very interesting! They even have a Feed RI food closet for those in need. Overall a wonderful place to visit. Something for everyone! Rude old lady with glasses working in the front counter on the first floor!! Really prejudice because I’m a minority and treated me poorly just bc of my skin color giving me a hard time checking out 2 children’s book for my son even though I have all the credentials!! After finally checking out the books we browse around and as we were walking out, a white man and his daughter also check out books we waited to see her reaction on them and it was the total opposite from us!! Hehehe hahaha w the white man jus bc of skin color wat a shame old lady ppl shud b treated equally

Very nice library. Easy open access on first floor to computers/printers.

My work requires me to travel the US and often use study rooms at library to get work done. So I’ve seen a ton of library study rooms. This is the first time I’ve ever seen one that was just a cluster of clear cubes in the middle of the library. It’s horribly distracting to be a center of room spectacle, and there is no noise protection from the neighboring cubes. The outlet is also places under a very deep counter so you cannot use your electronic while it’s plugged in, you have to place it under the counter to charge, an immense failure of engineering (that arguably could be solved with a hole in the counter to run the cord or an extension cord to bring the outlet to you..). The person next to me is having a meeting at an entirely reasonable volume, but it is super loud in my neighborin

Went this morning, long time, staff very friendly and knowledgeable help me find a certain area ,also has a feed RI pantry In the hallway ,lost my card took a whole two minutes to replace it well worth the trip they have programs for all ages
