Warrenton Community Library

I was here about a year ago and I could not fathom how a librarian (it was a guy) was talking to a child. The children (all young elementary) there were definitely not into the games/activities that the librarians planned for them. The librarians looked confused about their own identity, no wonder they couldn't find appropriate activities for these children. The guy librarian said to a child who was looking for a book about robots "you really have to change your attitude". I couldn't believe it, I really should have said something. The poor kid was just bored and just wanted to read something interesting. Stop with the gender politics in children. It's disgusting. Let children be children and if you do not like children choose a different profession.

A top tier library for its size hobbled only by its abysmal budget. It functions as a proper community hub with activities and resources for children, tools and instruments for teens and adults, and outreach for the marginalized. Lack of funding prevents it from being open anywhere close to the hours it should be, which is especially frustrating given that the workers and volunteers have already done the hard part in setting the place up so well.

The children's program here is phenomenal, and the library is run by wonderful people. Staff is so warm and friendly and makes everyone feel welcome. You can really tell the community values this library.

For a small town library they have such great programs! The library of things is amazing! Love coming in when the kids are there, it's great to see young folks enjoying a library. I can't believe there is such a great gem out here on the coast! Such a wonderful staff. I can't wait to visit again! Visited again and was greeted as well as got help from one of the librarians. Visiting again is even better!

This library has a great selection for a small library. Very clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff. I love their collection of puzzles available for checkout.
