Warr Acres Library - Metropolitan Library System

Hi I was at the Warr Acres Library in Oklahoma City Friday September 12,2025 about 1:30p.m.sitting by the wall on my labtop and I was harassed by a female security guard asking me did I just smoke weed do you smoke weed don't come in here smelling like weed I don't smoke weed and I was harassed by the female security guard along with 8-9 other people the female security guard accused me and start going off on me being rude and hostile very mean to us saying if you going to smoke weed go outside do you have weed on you than the female security guard was very disrespectful and wasn't talking properly and weed is not a crime the female security guard was acting like a police officer breaking rules and regulations of the library the female security guard disturbed everyone by the wall sitting

My daughter and I attended an event at the Warr Acres Library this evening and had so much fun. We made constellation art, learned lessons in persistence and patience, and left with some super cool art to hang in our home. Thank you, Warr Acres Library staff!

Very clean, and the front desk people looked like they enjoyed their jobs and helped out patreons. It was a good experience.
